The 12 Best SEO Companies in India for International Clients (2026)
An honest comparison of the Indian SEO agencies that actually serve Western clients — what each is good at, who they suit, and what they charge. Updated quarterly.
The Indian SEO agencies with a genuine track record serving US, UK and Australian clients are a much shorter list than the ten thousand listed on directory sites. The established names include **PageTraffic** (Delhi, since 2002), **SEOValley** (Bhopal, since 1999), **Techmagnate** (Delhi, since 2006), **Infidigit** (Mumbai, ecommerce), **ShootOrder** (Hyderabad, SaaS), **SEO Discovery** (Mohali), **Rankz** (Bengaluru, B2B SaaS), **EZ Rankings** (Delhi) and **iProspect India** (part of dentsu). Rates run $25–$55 an hour and retainers $500–$3,500 a month. We are on this list too, at position 6, and we have tried to place ourselves honestly.
## How this list was put together
Four criteria, applied the same way to everyone including us:
1. **Genuine international client base** — not an agency that serves Indian domestic clients with a US phone number on the contact page.
2. **Verifiable longevity** — founded date, continuous operation, findable client work.
3. **Stated specialism** — an agency that claims to do everything equally well usually does not.
4. **Transparency** — published pricing, disclosed methods, named people. Weighted heavily, because it is the thing that most reliably predicts a good experience.
We are an Indian SEO agency and we are on this list. That is a conflict of interest and pretending otherwise would be silly. We have placed ourselves where we think we honestly belong — sixth, behind agencies with more years and larger operations than ours. If you think we have placed ourselves too high, the four criteria above are public and you are welcome to disagree.

## What you should actually compare on
The agency name matters less than four things you can check in an afternoon.
Ask for a content brief and the article it produced
Together, with the writer’s name on both. This single request separates agencies with an editorial process from agencies with a content generator. If it takes more than a day, you have your answer.
Ask for a full link list from a real client, last month, as live URLs
Not a sample. Not a list of domains. Live URLs from an actual recent month. Agencies doing editorial link building send it without hesitation. The ones who cannot explain instead.
Ask to speak to the person who would run your account
Not the salesperson. If you cannot meet the delivery lead before signing, you do not know who you are hiring — and in offshore engagements the gap between the sales team and the delivery team is where most disappointment originates.
Ask for their exact overlap hours and escalation path
Clock times, not “we’re flexible”. A named route for when something breaks at 4pm your time.
## What the price differences mean
What you are actually buying at each price point
| Monthly | What it funds | Realistic for |
|---|---|---|
| $300–$700 | ~6–14 hours of junior time | Maintenance on a small, healthy site |
| $800–$1,400 | ~20–30 hours, mixed seniority | A small site with a clear, narrow goal |
| $1,500–$2,500 | ~30–50 hours, senior-led | Genuine competitive programmes |
| $2,500–$3,500 | ~50–70 hours plus digital PR | Ecommerce, SaaS, multi-location |
| $3,500+ | Dedicated pod | Enterprise, multi-market |
The band below $700 is where most of the bad experiences in this industry originate. It is not that cheap agencies are dishonest; it is that six hours a month cannot produce a technical audit, a researched article and an earned link, so something has to be automated, and the automated version of each of those is worthless.
## Common questions people arrive with
Choosing an Indian SEO agency
These are the questions that come up most often on first calls. If yours is not here, ask — we answer in writing within one working day.
Which is the best SEO company in India?
There is no single answer, because “best” depends on what you need. PageTraffic and Techmagnate have the longest enterprise track records. Infidigit is the strongest choice for large ecommerce. ShootOrder and Rankz are the SaaS specialists. SEOValley has the deepest white-label experience. The useful question is not which agency is best overall but which has done your specific kind of work, for clients in your market, recently — and can prove it.
How much should I pay an Indian SEO agency?
$1,500–$3,500 a month for a genuine competitive programme, or $500–$1,400 for maintenance on a small healthy site. Below roughly $700 a month the arithmetic stops working: that budget buys a handful of hours, which forces automation of exactly the work that should not be automated.
Are Indian SEO companies any good?
The best are excellent and the worst are terrible, and the spread is wider than in Western markets simply because there are more of them — over ten thousand listed on GoodFirms alone. India has deep technical talent and the lowest costs available anywhere. It also has a large low-cost tier selling automated work as strategy. The country is not the variable; the vetting is.
Should I choose an agency in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru or elsewhere?
City matters far less than specialism and track record. Delhi and Mumbai have the oldest established agencies; Bengaluru skews toward SaaS and startup work; smaller centres like Mohali, Bhopal and Ahmedabad host several long-established international-facing agencies at lower cost. Judge on the four vetting questions above, not the postcode.
How do I check an agency's claimed results are real?
Ask for the client’s name and permission to contact them. Ask for a Search Console screenshot rather than a rank-tracker export, since rank trackers can be configured to flatter. And ask what the starting point was — a site going from 400 to 1,200 monthly visits is a 200% increase and also almost nothing.
## If you want our honest self-assessment
We are not the largest agency on this list, nor the oldest. What we do differently is transparency: our prices are published, we disclose every link we build as a live URL, and every page we write carries a human byline. If you are choosing between offshore agencies and have been burned before, those three things are what we would tell you to weigh. If you want scale above all else, PageTraffic or Techmagnate have more of it than we do.
