How We Work

Our delivery process, reporting rhythm, link policy, content standards and escalation path, written down so you can hold us to them.

In short

Every engagement runs the same way: a four-week onboarding that ends with a written plan you approve, then a monthly rhythm of technical work, content and link acquisition, all visible in a live dashboard rather than summarised in a PDF. You get a named senior strategist and a named delivery lead. We disclose every link we build as a live URL. Every page we publish carries a human writer’s byline and an editor’s review. Overlap hours are fixed per market and published. Notice is 30 days on every plan.

## The first four weeks

  1. Week 1

    Access and baseline

Search Console, analytics, CMS and — where relevant — server logs. We record a baseline before touching anything, because arguments about whether something worked are impossible without one.

  2. Week 1–2

    Technical audit

A person reads the crawl, not a tool that emails you a PDF. Output is a prioritised list: what is costing you traffic today, what will cost you traffic later, and what does not matter despite what the tool says.

  3. Week 2–3

    Keyword-to-URL map

Every target term assigned to exactly one page. This is the step most programmes skip, and it is why so many sites end up with four pages quietly competing for the same query.

  4. Week 4

    The plan

A written plan: what gets fixed, what gets built, what gets earned, in what order, with what we expect to see and when. You approve it before we start executing. If you disagree with the sequencing, this is the moment to say so.

## The monthly rhythm after that

– **Continuously** — work lands in the dashboard as it happens. Nothing waits for month-end.
– **Weekly** — a short written update: what shipped, what is in progress, anything blocked on your side.
– **Monthly** — the full report, plus a call if you want one. Growth clients get monthly calls, Scale clients fortnightly.
– **Quarterly** — we revisit the plan properly. Search changes, your business changes, and a plan nobody revisits is a plan nobody is following.

## Our content standard

Every page we publish

Is briefed by a strategist against a specific query and a specific reader. Is written by a named human. Is reviewed by an editor before it ships. Carries a visible author byline and a review date. Cites its sources where it makes a factual claim.

We use AI tools in research and in first-draft assistance, the same way every serious agency now does. What we do not do is publish machine output unedited. The distinction matters commercially, not just ethically: unedited AI content at scale is the most-cited red flag in offshore SEO in 2026, and it does not rank.

If you want to check us on this, ask for a brief and the article it produced. We will send both.

## Our link policy

We build links editorially — real placements on sites with real traffic, earned through outreach, original data and genuine relationships.

We do not use private blog networks. We do not buy links. We do not use paid guest-post marketplaces. We do not build directory links at volume.

Every month you get **a complete list of every link built, as live URLs**, so you can check them yourself. If a link we built ever looks wrong to you, say so and we will pursue removal.

This costs us more and moves slower than the alternative. It also means we have never had a client take a manual action for links we built, and that is worth considerably more than the speed.

## Data and access

– A mutual NDA is available before the first substantive conversation. Ask and it is sent the same day.
– Access is granted to named individuals, listed for you, not to a shared team account.
– When someone rotates off your account, their access is revoked and you are told.
– We do not store client credentials in plain text or share them over chat.
– Full detail on the data security page.

## Overlap hours

Published, fixed, and kept every working day:

When we are online with you

United States
[x k="overlap_us"]
United Kingdom
[x k="overlap_uk"]
Australia
[x k="overlap_au"]
Urgent issues
Same-day response, any time zone, via the escalation address given at onboarding

## What we will tell you that you may not want to hear

– When your budget does not match your goal. We would rather lose the sale than take money for a programme that cannot work.
– When the problem is not SEO. Sometimes the traffic is fine and the site does not convert, and more traffic will not fix that.
– When a competitor is genuinely out of reach in your timeframe, and what the realistic target is instead.
– When something we tried did not work. It happens; hiding it wastes another quarter.

Working with us

These are the questions that come up most often on first calls. If yours is not here, ask — we answer in writing within one working day.

Who will I actually be dealing with?

Two named people: a senior strategist who owns the thinking, and a delivery lead who owns the execution. Both are introduced by name at onboarding with direct email addresses. You are not routed through an account manager who forwards your questions to somebody else.

What reporting do I get?

A live dashboard from day one showing every task, published URL and link as it happens, plus a written monthly report. Not one or the other — the dashboard is for checking, the report is for reading.

Can I see the links you build?

Every one, every month, as live URLs. This is a policy, not a favour, and it is the single fastest way to tell a serious link programme from a bad one. Ask any agency for it before you sign.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, mutual, before the first substantive conversation if you want. Ask and it goes out the same day.

What if the work is not good enough?

Tell us, and we will fix it or refund the month. If it happens twice, you should leave — and you can, with 30 days notice, taking every document, brief and dataset with you.
